Twin Mountain Guy Fawkes Bonfire Weekend

From John Bradshaw at Twin Mountain: “Growing up in England the Guy Fawkes or Bonfire Night holiday was always something special, it did not matter if it was a bonfire in the back garden of my Granddad’s house or a massive fire built out of shipping pallets they all had the same magic.

We would have the bonfire, toffee apples, baked potatoes, mugs of soup and sometimes fireworks. Since I find myself opening the park in the fall what better way than to continue the Bonfire night tradition add some off roading and start a tradition.

I am in the process of thinking up a suitable event/challenge for Saturday wheeling. we will lit the Bonfire as it gets dark and then attempt to bake potatos over the fire and I will hopefully have figured out how to make toffee apples by then.”
